The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind





Let us to stop and look attentively at our universe ,and to compare its size and age with our size and age, to understand the smallness of that arrogant human and that he is nothing in front of the creator be He blessed and exalted ….
It is a great universe with many Distances, where stars are gathering to form a marvelous image which is an indication that the made of God be He exalted is precise. God created these huge numbers of stars and galaxies to show us His grandeur and to confirm that He is the Great God. But skeptics say that earth is only a whit in that universe .so why God is concerning about earth? We answer that the Qur'an was descended to speak to our brains and without the earth human wouldn't be created.

Let us to look attentively at this image for a small part of our galaxy which is "Milky way" for a district called (M13) which is a cluster of stars that contain more than 100000 stars and it is 25000 light years far from us. This cluster is one of 150 clusters in our galaxy. Every star is like a sum in our system or may be larger. These suns are getting closer to each other toward the center to collide, so that some stars die and others are created according to a very dignified system which is only known by God be He blessed and exalted.
When we see that dignified scene we have to remember the grandeur of our Creator be He blessed and exalted and to make a small comparison between human and universe as:
The length of human in comparison with the universe is:
1/ 100000000000000000000000000 which is a part of one hundred trillion trillion.
Age of human in comparison with age of universe is less than:
1/100000000which is a part of one hundred million.
These figures show us that creation of heavens and earth is bigger than creation of human and that was exactly what our God told us in the Qur'an in saying (The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind; yet, most of mankind knows not.)(Sûrat Ghâfir- verse 57)
Notice
Scientists believe that age of universe is 13 billion year and they estimated its size with more than 20 billion light year. As the light year is the distance that light travels in one year (speed of light in vacuum is 300000km/ second).
