![]() The grave has pressure ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The Grave The grave has pressureIf the slave is placed in the grave, the grave presses him. It is pressure that must come to every person. Nobody escapes from it whether they are big or small, good or bad. The Hadiths prove that if anyone escaped from it, it would have been the great companion: Saad ibn Mu`adh (may Allah be pleased with him), for whose death the throne of The Merciful, His Majesty, shook, the doors of the heavens opened and 70,000 angels witnessed for him . Ibn Omar (may Allah be pleased with them) (narrates) about the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he said about Saad ibn Mu`adh (may Allah be pleased with him): " This is the one at whose death the Throne shook, the gates of heaven were opened of him and seventy thousand angles attended his funeral. It squeezed him once then reported him."[1] Sheikh Al Albani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "his chain of narration is correct on the condition of Muslim".[2] In the Musnad of Imam Ahmed (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Hadith of `A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "In the grave there is squeezing; and if anyone were to be saved from it, Saad ibn Muadh would have been saved from it." [3] Al Albani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "his chain of narration is correct ".[4] [1] Narrated by An-Nasa'y number (2057). [2] Look at: Mushkat Al Masabeeh (1/49).
