It was proved scientifically that the development of the fetus passes in a process in mother's womb through three stages of darkness, the first darkness is in belly dike, then the second darkness is in womb dike, finally the third one is in the placentas' mesentery, as Allah said:

(6- HE creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, through three stages of darkness. This is ALLAH, your Lord. HIS is the Kingdom. There is no god but HE. Wither then are you being turned away?) [Az-zumar sura].

The marvel in the quranic verse is an indication to the process of creation of fetus in mother's womb through three stages of darkness; this process was unknown in the period of Quran sending down, so that it attests the marvel of the holy Quran.

No one year has more rain than another one


Commentators of the Glorious Quran say: ‘There is no more rain in one …

Allah stated in Glorious Quran, sura al-Hijr [Stone land, Rock City] 15:21, ‘And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures.’ Commentators of the Glorious Quran say: ‘There is no more rain in one year or less than other years. But, some people get rain while others are deprived.’ This interpretation was the opinion of our scholars more than seven centuries ago at a time when Europe was rich in myths and superstition. Our scholars have understood the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger PBUH, to learn that the amount of rainfall every year is fixed and does not change. This is what the scientists in the twentieth century discovered. Our question to those skeptics who believe that the Qur'an is an ordinary book: ‘Where did Ibn Katheer [the renowned scholar of interpretation of Quran] who lived in the sixth century AH brought such information from? The answer is simply, from the Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH, who is reported to have said, ‘There is no specific year that has more rainfall than another, but rather Allah, the Almighty distributes it [i.e. the rainfall].’ [This Hadith is reported by AlHakim] Research has proven that the rainfall average is fixed on annual basis.

When solar winds that stream from the sun hit the Earth, the magnetic poles …

When solar winds that stream from the sun hit the Earth, the magnetic poles surrounding our planet resist these rays, forcing them to react and veer away. This is how God Almighty protects us from the sun’s fatal solar winds. As a result of this reaction, however, beautiful phenomena known as auroras takes place. These consist of aurora borealis (the Northern Polar Lights) which surrounds the north magnetic pole, and aurora australis (The Southern Polar Lights) which surrounds the south magnetic pole. Scientists explain that if it were not for these beautiful polar lights, every living creature on Earth would be burnt! That being said, in the Holy Qur’an, God Almighty actually swears by this aurora, and this only emphasises its importance: {So I swear by the afterglow of sunset} [Al-Inshiqaq, 84:16]. This makes us wonder: Is this not a profound example of the Qur’an’s miraculous nature? If a phenomenon like the aurora is something we take for granted even today, how could any human being 14 centuries ago, during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) have acknowledged and appreciated its significance?

The eye of the bee

The scientists found that the bee is using ultra violet ray for vision, also they found that eye of the bee consists of thousands of small lenses taking the hexagonal shape and that design helps the bee for better vision in forests and to avoid collision with others. The bee can perform one trillion arithmetic operations in one second which is faster than any computer in the world despite its brain size which is less than head of a pin! Allah Almighty says: (He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything)(Sûrat Al-An’âm- The Cattle- verse101).

Wonders of the bees

The researchers admitted that brain of the bee is loaded by readymade programs to enable it to perform all complicated operations to produce honey, Allah Almighty says: (And your Lord inspired the bee, saying: "Take you habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they erect.){Sûrat An-Nahl- the Bees-verse68}

Frogs can predict the earthquakes

The researchers confirm that the frog is supported by very sensitive prediction system for earthquakes which is more advanced than any other human tool, it can hear the emitted sounds from the ground two days before the earthquake. The frog can detect and measure low frequencies that human can't hear so it can run away from the area two days before the earthquake. Allah Almighty says: (And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favor and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply)(Sûrat Al-Jâthiyah-verse13). Glory to Allah!!!!

Animals can predict the earthquakes

In 2004, a destructive tsunami hit the Indonesian beaches and thousands of people were killed, a little time before the earthquake dogs run away and elephants started to shout. The scientists explained this phenomenon that earth emits vibrations (low than 20 hertz) which is less than 20 vibrations per second before the earthquake and the tsunami. These animals can detect these vibrations before all advanced machines. Glory to Allah Almighty who exploited these creatures for us as He Almighty says: (And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favor and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply)(Sûrat Al-Jâthiyah- the Kneeling -verse13).

Animals lie

Many researches confirm that animals can cheat and lie exactly like human. The researchers in the biology section at University of Potsdam assure that lying is existed between monkeys, elephants, fish and birds. Glory to Allah Almighty who told us this scientific reality 1400 years ago as He Almighty says: (There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, and then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.){Sûrat Al-An’âm-The Cattle -verse38}

The ability of the camel to survive in desert conditions without water for long periods of time is rivaled by none as they can glean much of their needed water from desert vegetation, and can survive after losing over 40 percent of their body weight in water.when water is available (fresh or salty), camels drink well- up to 57 liters at a time and it has a flexible 'thermostat', and will not start sweating until their body temperature reaches 42C. Nor do heating mechanisms kick in during the cooler nights until the internal temperature reaches 34C .the physiological adaptation allows the camel to "store" coolness in preparation for the next day. Also the camel has a hump used for energy storage in the form of fat. Allah Almighty says: (Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?* and at the Sky, how it is raised high?* and at the Mountains, how they are fixed firm?*and at the Earth, how it is spread out?*Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish)(Sûrat AlGhasyha-The Kneeling-verse 17-21).

The Biologists say that camel’s mouth is very sturdy to be able to chew thorny desert plants, also the camels have long eyelashes and ear hairs, together with sealable nostrils, form a barrier against sand. Their gait and their widened feet help them move without sinking into the sand. Also to save water the kidneys and intestine of a camel are very efficient at retaining water. Urine comes out as thick syrup, and their feces are so dry that they can fuel fires. Camels do not store water in their humps as is commonly believed, the humps are actually a reservoir of fatty tissue. Concentrating body fat in their humps minimizes heat-trapping insulation throughout the rest of their body, which may be an adaptation to living in hot climates. When this tissue is ****bolized, it acts as a source of energy, and yields more than 1 g of water for each 1 g of fat converted through reaction with oxygen from air. Glory to Allah who says: (Do they not look at the Camels, how they are made?) (Sûrat Al-Ghasyha-the Kneeling-verse 17).

The spider's house

The scientists say that spider’s thread is stronger five times than the steel! Despite that it can easily destroyed because spider is not able to produce thick threads rather it produces so thin threads as it is ten times thinner than the hair of the head. Also the Entomologists assure that the female eats its children and husband, so Allah Almighty tells us that faith of the atheists and disbelievers like the house of the spider, He Almighty saysThe likeness of those who take Auliya' (protectors and helpers) other than Allah is as the likeness of a spider, who builds (for itself) a house, but verily, the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house; if they but knew.){Sûrat Al-‘Ankabût-The Spider-verse41}

Scientists have explained that the amount of sweet water stored beneath the surface of the Earth …

Scientists have explained that the amount of sweet water stored beneath the surface of the Earth is far greater than the amount of water we see in lakes, rivers and seas. Although this is a relatively recent discovery, it is a fact that had already been acknowledged in the Qur’an: {And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.} [Al-Hijr, 15:22]. Indeed, it has been proven that winds are one of the factors that ‘provoke’ the existence of clouds, and that rain water, despite the complicated process, manages to be stored in the depths of the Earth!

Scientists have discovered water barriers which divide between salty and sweet water in downstream areas. This is one of the scientific phenomena that preserve ecological balance, and the Qur’an magnificently portrays this beautiful phenomenon: {It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed.} [Al-Furqan, 25:53]. Modern science has proven that thanks to this well-established partition, salty sea water never crosses its limits and trespasses upon sweet water.

Let free the two bodies [II]


There are in fact water barriers between every two seas that meet on the face of the Earth! For instance …

There are in fact water barriers between every two seas that meet on the face of the Earth! For instance, between the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean lies a strait called the Mandab Strait (or “Bab-el-Mandeb” in Arabic). This strait is the point at which the Red Sea and Indian Ocean meet. However, it stretches for several kilometres and acts as a barrier which divides these two bodies of water in order for each one to preserve its own temperature, salinity and density . Each body of water keeps its own properties and they never mix nor trespass upon each other! And the Qur’an specifically refers to this amazing fact: {He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: (19) Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: (20)} [Al-Rahman, 55:19-20]. And just as the Qur’an says that God has “let free the two bodies of flowing water”, science has indeed shown that although two bodies of water like the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean can and do meet, their properties never mix, despite the existence of these seas and oceans for thousands of years!

The source of water


Granite rocks, despite their compactness and solid nature, and despite the absence of holes on their surface …

Granite rocks, despite their compactness and solid nature, and despite the absence of holes on their surface, nevertheless allow the passage of water through ever-so small pores inside of them. This special feature allows water that falls from the sky to be stored below the Earth’s surface after its passage through the pores of these rocks. And if it were not for this feature that God granted these rocks, water, our source of life, could not have been stored into the depths of the Earth.

Beautifully, the Qur’an has pointed to this source of pure water: {And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease).} [Al-Mu’minun, 23:18]. This verse is but a confirmation that the water contained on Earth is nothing more than rain water; something that has been scientifically proven! This fact, however, had not been discovered during the time the Qur’an was revealed, so who could have informed the Prophet (peace be upon him) of such knowledge?

The weakest houses is the spider's house


Scientists say that spider’s thread is stronger five times than the steel ……

Allah Almighty says the frailest (weakest) of houses is the spider's house; if they but knew.)[ Sûrat Al-‘Ankabût-The Spider-verse41].

Scientists say that spider’s thread is stronger five times than the steel! Despite that it can easily destroyed because spider is not able to produce thick threads rather it produces so thin threads as it is ten times thinner than the hair of the head. Also they assure that these threads can expand up to 40% of its length

Without being cut where they found that the best threads made from steel couldn’t expand more than 8% of its length and despite that spider couldn’t build a stable house. Glory to Allah!!!!!!!!
