It means that eating dates on a daily basis makes us stable from the psychological side. Allah Almighty says about this fruit when He tells us about story of Maryam: (And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you*"So eat and drink and be glad){Sûrat Maryam- Mary-verse25-26 }

Single Brain Cell Can store information



Day after day and researches prove that atheists are wrong in their belief that human and universe existed by coincidence and that human developed by the power of nature. Let us read……….

Memory has long been described as a function of brain cells getting together and forming connections. A new study finds single cells can remember things.
American scientists found that individual nerve cells (called neurons) in the front part of the brain can hold traces of memories by themselves for up to a minute or longer.
The fleeting memories, which the researchers found in mice brains, are held in the most highly evolved part of the brain in a manner akin to the nonpermanent working memory of a computer.
"It's more like RAM [random access memory] on a computer than memory stored on a disk," said Don Cooper, assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. "The memory on the disk is more permanent and you can go back and access the same information repeatedly. RAM memory is rewritable temporary storage that allows multitasking."

Scientists say that a neuron receives and processes information through a network of branches called dendrites. Once it processes the signal, the brain cell relays it along an axon to a terminal linking to another cell's dendrites. When millions of brain cells communicate with each other at once, cognition occurs.

A RAM chip which is a human design, it performs a simple function in comparison with a human brain cell, Can anyone claim that this chip was created by no one or by nature? Indeed no because human as a rational creature refer the creation of any ****** to a founder. Glory to Allah the creator of all creatures
Professor Ian Forsythe of the Medical Research Council toxicology unit at the University of Leicester stated that results of the research provide some light on brain’s ability to the temporal storing of information which can assist in helping people who are ill by Alzheimer.
Alison Cranage, from the Alzheimer's Research Trust, said, "By understanding memory formation, scientists may be able to discover ways to enhance it.
"Memory loss can be an early sign of dementia, and we desperately need to fund more research in order to find a cure for this devastating disease." He added.

Dear loved ones, if temporary or permanent memory in computer broke down, as a result the system will collapse. Exactly, if human’s brain failed, he or she will become without memory which means human will be totally lost.
Human’s memory is a great blessing but atheists are refusing that grace and they claims that nature is the creator, He Almighty says: (Then do they believe in Batil (falsehood - polytheism, idols and all deities other than Allah), and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah?){Sûrat Al-‘Ankabût- The Spider –verse67}.
Allah Almighty honored Human by providing him with memory. He Almighty saysAnd indeed We have honored the Children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Taiyibat (lawful good things), and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preference){Sûrat Al-Isrâ - The Journey by Night –verse70 }.
Also He Almighty says: (And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah).){Sûrat An-Nahl - The Bees –verse 78}.
Indeed knowledge, hearing and sight for human are useless without a memory.
Glory to Allah, to store and analyze information human needs one trillion neurons and that huge number of cells are working simultaneously with no error or delay. Definitely because the creator is Allah Almighty who says about Himself: (That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful* Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay* Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water (male and female sexual discharge)* Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allah for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give!){Sûrat As-Sajdah - The Prostration –verse 6-9}.

Secrets of the age of forty



Human brain is not fully mature until he or she reaches forty years old, new study say. But 1400 years ago the Qur’an told us the same result. Let us read…..

For many years scientists used to believe that our brain stopped physically evolving in early childhood but new research has shown that keeps changing well into middle age.
By using the latest scanning technology, brain scans have shown that prefrontal cortex – the area just behind our forehead – continues to change shape in our 30s and 40s.The discovery is particularly significant as the prefrontal cortex is a key area of the brain and is often thought said to be key to what makes us human.
It is said to be involved with decision making, social interaction and many other personality traits.

The researchers used the functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FMRI) which is a type of specialized MRI scan. It measures the hemodynamic response (change in blood flow) related to neural activity in the brain or spinal cord of humans. It is one of the most recently developed forms of neuroimaging.
Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, a neuroscientist at University College London, revealed the new thinking by saying: "Until about 10 years ago we pretty much assumed that the human brain stopped developing in early childhood.”

A brain scan which illustrate the activity in the forehead area (in yellow), this area is responsible for human’s personality….scientists say
"But we now understand from brain imaging that that is far from the truth and that many human brains keep on developing for many decades.” She added
"The area of the brain that goes through the most protracted development is the prefrontal cortex right at the front of the brain.” She explained
"It is the part of the brain that is involved in high cognitive function such as decision making, planning and social behavior. It is also to do with understanding other people.” Confirmed Sarah
She says “It starts develop in early childhood, is reorganized in late adolescence and continues developing well into the 30s and 40s.”
Science and Qur’an
This scientific fact was mentioned in the Qur’an 1400 years ago as Allah Almighty says: (And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship and she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty (30) months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says: "My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to you in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)."){ Sûrat Al-Ahqâf - The Curved Sand-hills -verse15}.
Scholars explain this verse by saying that when human reach the age of forty, his or her brain became fully matured and his or her understanding became completed (explanation of Ibn- Kathir). We have to mention that this explanation was published hundreds of years ago which confirm that the understanding of old scholars to the verses of Qur’an is right and correct.
But, who told our illiterate prophet this scientific reality?
Indeed Allah Almighty is the teller because at that time no one had got this piece of advanced knowledge which is known to recent scientists.
Also we should not forget this holy verse as Allah Almighty says: ("I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth).){Sûrat Hûd -(Prophet) Hûd-verse 56 }.
Again, who told prophet Mohamed peace be upon him about the importance of the forelock, especially all recent researches confirm that this area is responsible for decision making and personality of human?
He is Allah Almighty who says about Himself: (Such is Allah, your Lord! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things.){ Sûrat Al-An’âm - The Cattle-verse102}.

Fake alcohol


A scientific study proved that human may be affected by what he or she believe even if it is wrong and just thinking in a fake thing may affect our behavior……




A research performed by Seema Assefi and Maryanne Garry, two psychologists at Victoria University in New Zealand illustrated that human memory can be affected by alcohol.


Tests showed that participants in an experiment who were told they were drinking vodka, but were not, were more swayed by misleading information and more certain their memory was correct than those who were told they were drinking tonic water. Dr Garry says the research has given new insights into how human memory works and how both social and non-social influences can affect a person's recall of events.


"What we have done is that we have made people's memory worse by telling them that they were intoxicated even though they had drunken nothing stronger than plain flat tonic water with limes," he adds.


In the study, 148 students were split into two groups, half being told they were getting vodka and tonic and the rest told they were getting just tonic. In reality, all were getting just plain tonic. The research was carried out in a bar-like room equipped with bartenders, vodka bottles, tonic bottles, and glasses.


Researchers poured flat tonic water from sealed vodka bottles to appear genuine. The deception was completed by rimming glasses with limes dunked in vodka



.


After consuming their drinks, the students watched a sequence of slides depicting a crime. They also read a summary of the crime that contained misleading information.


Scientists say that just thinking about Alcohol can make people tipsy


"We found people who thought they were intoxicated were more suggestible and made worse eyewitnesses compared with those who thought they were sober," Seema Assefi says. “In fact the 'vodka and tonic' students acted drunk, some even showing physical signs of intoxication," she adds.


"When students were told the true nature of the experiment at the completion of the study, many were amazed that they had only received plain tonic, insisting that they had felt drunk at the time," she comments. Dr Garry concludes: "It showed that even thinking you've been drinking affects your behavior



.


Some figures about Alcohol consumption in United Kingdom


Statistics in 2003 showed the following figures about alcohol around the UK:


• One in three men and one in five women fail to drink sensibly.


• Youngsters are starting to binge-drink at an earlier age.as the binge-drinking period that was once confined to the late teens runs from 16 to 24.


• Officials say that the government would have to increase spending on alcohol services from £100m to £300m.


• Governmental reports say that Britain's binge drinking culture is costing the country £20 billion a year and 17 million working days are lost to hangovers and drink-related illness each year.


• Billions more are spent clearing up alcohol-related crime and social problems. In addition, alcohol-related problems are responsible for 22,000 premature deaths each year and Up to1.3 million children are affected by parents with drink problems.


Conclusion


Alcohol has a harmful effects on people and community and finding of the study and above figures illustrates why prophet Mohamed peace be upon him ordered Muslims not to even sit with people who are drinking alcohol as the prophet tells his companion the famous hadith about Alcohol as he said: ”whoever believe in Allah Almighty and the hereafter shouldn’t sit in a table where alcohol is on it” {narrated by Ahmed and Al-Albany categorized it as a right Hadith}.


People for many years were wondering about what behind that hadith as it is enough for Muslims not to drink alcohol or carry it or gain money from it but after publishing the results of the previous study, it is now clear why prophet Mohamed peace be upon him warned us from even sitting with people who are drinking because we will get the same effects as those who are drinking Alcohol.


Hence we have to understand why Allah Almighty tells us about prophet Mohamed the following: (Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad ) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad ) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allah, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he is) full of pity, kind, and merciful.){Sûrat At-Taubah - The Repentance –verse 128}.


"Our Lord Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after you have guided us, and grant us mercy from you. Truly you are the bestower"

The above photo shows us that lung of the smoker is black but lung of the non-smoker is rosy. Here we remind smokers that keeping away from smoking is so easy by knowing that smoking is some kind of slow death, also those smokers must keep reading the following verse: (And do not kill yourselves. It is disliked to eat or drink while standing


Physicians say that if we don't relax while eating that may cause a great stress ….





Physicians say that if we don't relax while eating that may cause a great stress to our digestive system also our in-house enzymes won't have the chance to work on that food to assimilate the nutrients into our bloodstream. So they advise us not to be rushed while eating and we should always sit on a chair, in a comfortable position while eating our food



.


We shouldn’t forget what prophet Mohamed peace be upon him told us about that as he says in the prophetic hadith (the prophet prohibited us to eat or drink while standing){narrated by Muslim}


That saying is in conformance with the recent science; shouldn’t we always follow prophet Mohamed peace be upon him?

Scientists found that prayer is a successful cure for angry and hastiness, which have a direct effect on heart and the nervous system .Allah Almighty says: (Successful indeed are the believers, Those who offer their Salat (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness){Sûrat Al-Mu’minûn- The Believers-verse 1-2}

Forelock and self confidence


Many researches proved that human’s forelock is a very important area that affect our self-confidence…let us contemplate




Scientists have recently discovered that a significant activity occurs in the upper front part of the brain (forelock) when the man lies or make specific errors. Therefore scientists have decided that the center of lying and error in humans is in the upper front part of the brain which is called the frontal lobe.


Also, Scientists believe that this area is responsible for leadership and self-confidence

Allah Almighty says on the tongue of prophet Hûd: (I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on the Straight Path (the truth).){Sûrat Hûd -(Prophet) Hûd-verse 56}.


It means that any one submit his forelock to Allah Almighty by trusting Him is definitely on the right path and all of his or her decisions will be right.

Bones and trees


Allah Almighty created trees and by His infinite power He made it able to be converted to fuel through the years, also He is able to recreate the bones after death, let us contemplate……




A new discovery


A new procedure to turn blocks of wood into artificial bones has been developed by Italian scientists who plan to implant them into large animals, and eventually humans.





Human skeleton under X-ray as scientists have created a new kind of artificial bone derived from wood. When implanted, the artificial bone should allow live bones to heal faster and more securely


The Italian scientists believe that wood-derived bone substitute should allow live bones to heal faster and more securely after a break than currently available ****l and ceramic implants.





Enlarged photo of a wooden sector, scientists say that they chose wood because it closely resemble the physical structure of natural bone, which is impossible to reproduce with conventional processing technology.


"Our purpose is to convert native wood structures into bioactive, inorganic compounds destined to substitute portions of bone," said Anna Tampieri, a scientist at the Instituto Di Scienza E Techologia Dei Materiali Ceramici in Italy.


To create the bone substitute, the scientists start with a block of wood -- red oak, rattan and sipo work best -- and heat it until all that remains is pure carbon, which is basically charcoal. The scientists then spray calcium over the carbon, creating calcium carbide. Additional chemical and physical steps convert the calcium carbide into carbonated hydroxyapatite, which can then be implanted and serves as the artificial bone.





Wood-based implants would have several advantages over traditional titanium or ceramic implants, as their physical structure is more spongy than solid, like many ****l or ceramic implants, live bone should grow into wood-derived bone substitute quicker and more securely.


"One disadvantage (of titanium) is that its not bioactive," said Frank Muller, a researcher at the Institute of Materials Science and Technology in Germany. This means that titanium is unable to interact with living tissue, unlike the wood-derived substitute. Scientists assure that ****l or ceramic implants meant to prevent bone breaks can sometimes cause them.





Tampieri say that the formed holes by the new artificial bones allow blood and nerves to pass because these new bones are free from any artificial substances and can afford weight of the body


Scientists say that within a few months, the real and the artificial bone will be like one continuous bone. Also they confirm that implanting wood into humans are about five years away to be achieved. But they believe that bones from wood could soon be opening up a new branch of medical science.


Point of inimitability


In the holy book of Qur’an there are many hidden secrets that are not discovered except by who is contemplating in the verses and its meanings as all verses are correlated and connected to each other to form a robust linguistic building.


Allah Almighty says: (Does not man see that we have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge semen drops). Yet behold! He (stands forth) as an open opponent* and he puts forth for us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?"* Say: (O Muhammad) "He will give life to them who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!"* He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith.){ Sûrat Yâ-Sîn -verse77-80}


Today, we can find some people who deny the recreation of dead people in the day of resurrection as they claim that these bones are converted to dust after years of death so, how can these scattered granules of dust are converted to bones another time?


Allah Almighty replied on those people and gave them two evidences for His ability to recreate people , the first evidence is when He Almighty says: (Say: (O Muhammad) "He will give life to them who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!"){ Sûrat Yâ-Sîn-verse79} as the one who created things from the nothing is able to recreate them another time. In our life, if a building is destroyed and transferred to hundreds of pieces, the engineer who built it is able to rebuild it another time. What about the power of the creator of everything?!


The second evidence by Allah Almighty as He says He, who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith.).


He Almighty tells us that trees give us fire and that is from the burning of these trees, also it gives us fire by its decomposition inside earth through millions of years which give us oil that is used in the field of energy as these trees after its extinction can be used another time when it decomposed to oil.


Allah Almighty wants us to understand that He Almighty by His power can exploit all rules to recreate things another time and can change decomposed trees from a perishable substance to oil to be used in useful uses



.


All of the above two evidences are clear for all people but when we contemplate in the meanings of Qur’an we find that Allah Almighty mentioned the trees after he mentioned bones. Isn’t a sign that these trees can be used in conjunction with bones?


Here, we have to understand that manufacturing bones from wood was not known at the time of prophet Mohamed peace be upon him also He Almighty referred to the extracted energy from trees and that reference is valid in all eras as in the past the only known energy was resulted from burning trees but now science taught us that these buried trees through years is transferred to oil which is the main source of energy in this era. If He Almighty told us that trees generate oil, no one through years may understand what is meant by that?


Who told our illiterate prophet about these scientific facts? Indeed He is Allah Almighty the creator of all creatures and everything
