Plant feels pain….Glory to Allah

Many amazing discoveries take attention of scientists but when we read the Qur'an we find that Allah almighty told us about these discoveries in his book ….

Recently, American scientists proved that plant can feel with pain and it talks with other plants as it secretes a sedative material when it feel with pain also it warns other plants in case of dangers by secreting a special material!

The researchers in the US airspace ******* center were astonished when they discovered that ill plants produce chemical material like aspirin (can be identified in the air around the plant), this material is a part of an immune system to protect them.

That discovery may help farmers to observing that material to identify whether their plants are in good health or not.

Till now, farmers have no method to recognize the health of plants except by their naked eye (dead leafs).

Researcher Thomas Carl says: unlike human who takes aspirin as anti-fever, plants are able to produce its aspirin by secreting proteins to strengthen its biochemical defense system, so it can reduce the infection.

At the same time, researchers confirmed that plants in laboratories produce a kind of aspirin called Methyl Salicylate. Some researchers had launched a measuring system to observe the secreted materials from plants as an observation for the environment in a farm near to California and they found in Surroundings an amount of the Methyl Salicylate.

In similar studies, they found that edible plants for animals produce chemical materials which can be detected by other near plants to warn them from near danger. Also they found the same material in the air of a farm that was subject to changes in the weather (cold at night then hot at day).

Allah supported leaf with some sensitive tools to feel what is happening around it. Also the plant can be affected by words of Allah, although there is no real scientific researches concerning that matter but I believe that plants can be affected by the Qur'an and its power increases also it grows up. There are some researches which confirm that plants get affected by sounds but till now these researches are not documented, we hope that Muslim scientists can do researches about that matter and they will get marvelous results.

Allah is the one who taught these plants to secrete that material when feeling with pain? Who supported these plants by those precise machines to secrete chemicals to warn others?

Allah said that every thing is glorifying Him, Allah says: (The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.)(Sûrat Al-Isrâ’- verse 44). Also Allah in another verse tells us that everything speaks even our skins in the day of resurrection, God says: (They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak as He causes all things to speak: and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return.")(Sûrat Fussilat- verse21). This verse was confusing to skeptics but now and after that discovery it considered being a proof that Qur'an is sincere and that it is a divine made not a human made.
