Dr. Lebwohl: Certainly there are some limits on how much can be applied. If you soaked in a tub full of it for days on end, you would be concerned about vitamin D absorption. Having said that, vitamin D intoxication from topical therapy seldom happens. If you follow the package insert guidelines on how much to apply, overdosing is not much of an issue.

مفيش كلام كمية المرهم المستخدمة . لو انك غمست نفسك في انبوب مليء من المرهم فلا بد ان تأخذ حذرك من امتصاص المرهم عبر الجلد.
على الرغم من ان حدوث تسمم بفيتامين د ( نشط) نادرا ما يحدث الا انك لو اتبعت التعليمات المكتوبة على الانبوب فانه لا يوجد مشكلة اذن.

Dr. Lebwohl: Local irritation certainly has been reported even with calcitriol, but to a lesser degree than with calcipotriene.
الدكتور : بعض المرضى اشتكوا من تهيج بالجلد حتى مع الكالسيتريول ولكن بشكل اقل من الكالسيبوتريول .
