حقُّ الله الأعظم
عن معاذ بن جبل رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((حقُّ الله على العباد أن يعبدوه ولا يشركوا به شيئًا، وحقُّ العباد على الله ألَّا يعذب من لا يشرك به شيئًا))؛ [رواه البخاري ومسلم].
في زمن كثُرت فيه الفتن، وتاهت الأرواح بين شهوة وشُبهة، ضعُف الإخلاص وغاب التوكل، واشتدَّ التعلق بالمخلوق، حتى صار الخوفُ من الناس أعظمَ من الخوف من الله.
هناك، دقَّ ناقوس الخطر، لقد غِبنا عن المعنى الذي من أجله خُلقنا: أن نعبد الله ولا نشرك به شيئًا.
العبادة ليست مظهرًا جامدًا، ولا عادةً تؤدَّى، بل هي حياة القلب في خضوعه لربه، وتوحيده له في كل قولٍ وفعلٍ، وسعيٍ ونيَّة.
فالصلاة، والصيام، والدعاء، والرجاء، والخوف كلها وجوه من التوحيد حين تؤدَّى لله وحده لا شريك له.
ذلك هو حقُّ الله الأعظم على عباده: أن يعبدوه وحده بإخلاص ومحبة وتعظيم.
قال ابن تيمية رحمه الله: "العبادة كمال الحب لله مع كمال الذل له؛ فمن أحب الله ولم يخضع له فليس بعابدٍ، ومن خضع له دون أن يحبه فليس بموحِّد، حتى يجتمع الحب والخضوع في قلب واحد، عندها يتحقق معنى لا إله إلا الله".
فكل سجدة خاشعة، وكل دمعة في جوف الليل، وكل صبر على طاعة أو مجاهدة لهوًى، هي طريق إلى تحقيق هذا الحق العظيم: أن يُعبد الله بما يُحب ويرضى، خالصًا من شوائب الرياء والالتفات إلى الخَلق.
وحين يسكن التوحيد في القلب، تزول غشاوة الشرك، ويُشرق بنور الطمأنينة؛ إذ لا يبقى فيه إلا الله، هناك يعيش العبد السَّكينة في كنف مولاه، ويعيش حلاوةَ القرب منه، فيجِد في العبودية حريةً لا يعرفها إلا من صَدَقَ في توحيده.
فالله وعد عباده ألَّا يعذبهم وهم يوحِّدونه، وأن يجعل من إخلاصهم له أمانًا يوم تتقلَّب القلوب والأبصار.
ومضة نبوية لقلبك:
عُد إلى الله أيها القلب، فليست النجاة في كثرة الخُطى، بل في صدق الوِجهة.
اثبُت على التوحيد وإن اضطربت الدنيا من حولك، وتشبَّث بحبل الإخلاص إذا تهاوت الأقنعة.
اجعَلِ الله مقصِدَك، وسُنة نبيك طريقك، تكُن في أمان حين يضيع الأمان، وفي نورٍ حين تعُم الظلمة.
فالتوحيد سفينة النجاة، ومن ركبها وصل، وإن تأخر الموج.
Prophetic Glimpses for Your Heart
Glimpse (4): The Greatest Right of Allah
On the authority of Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him,
and the right of the servants upon Allah is that He will not punish those who do not associate anything with Him.”
Narrated by al-Bukhārī and Muslim.
In an age where trials multiply and souls wander between desires and doubts, sincerity has weakened, trust in Allah has faded, and hearts have become attached to creation more than to the Creator—until the fear of people outweighs the fear of Allah.
Then the alarm is sounded... for we have strayed from the very purpose for which we were created: to worship Allah alone and not associate partners with Him.
Worship is not a hollow ritual or a lifeless habit; it is the beating heart of servitude—where one submits to his Lord, unites his intention, and purifies his devotion.
Prayer, fasting, supplication, hope, and fear—all are forms of tawḥīd when performed purely for Allah alone.
This is the greatest right of Allah upon His servants: that they worship Him alone with sincerity, love, and reverence.
Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“Worship is the perfection of love for Allah together with the perfection of humility before Him.
Whoever loves Allah without humbling himself before Him is not a true worshiper,
and whoever humbles himself without loving Him is not a true monotheist.
true lā ilāha illā Allāh is when love and submission unite within a single heart.”
Every humble prostration, every tear shed in the depth of night, every struggle against desire, and every act of patience upon obedience.
all of these are steps toward fulfilling that greatest right:
that Allah be worshiped as He loves and is pleased with, purely for His sake, free from vanity and the gaze of others.
When tawḥīd settles in the heart, the fog of shirk dissolves, and the soul is illuminated by tranquility.
Nothing remains within but Allah.
Then the servant lives in peace beneath the shelter of his Lord, tasting the sweetness of nearness and finding in servitude a freedom unknown to all but the sincere.
For Allah has promised not to punish those who single Him out in worship, and to make their sincerity a safeguard on the Day when hearts tremble and eyes turn in fear.
A Prophetic Glimpse for Your Heart:
Return to Allah, O heart.
Salvation is not in the number of your steps, but in the truth of your direction.
Stand firm upon tawḥīd even if the world sways around you,
and cling to the rope of sincerity when masks begin to fall.
Make Allah your destination, and the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ your path.
you will find safety when safety fades, and light when darkness prevails.
For tawḥīd is the Ark of salvation.
whoever boards it, will reach the shore… even if the waves delay.
