Allah Almighty says about the sun: (And have made (therein) a shining lamp (sun)){Sûrat An-Naba-The Great News –verse13},in this holy verse Allah Almighty describes sun by saying that it is a lamp.

we know that function of the lamp is to inflame energy to generate heat and light exactly as the function of sun .Therefore, saying that sun is a lamp is definitely right from the scientific point of view , it’s a miracle as no one at that time knew anything about this fact.
