Researchers say that the heart is seriously damaged by emotional relations whether such relations succeed or fail and that the best method for having a relationship between men and women is marriage and the abstention of prohibited look at women. All glory to Allah, the almighty who told us to lower our gaze; Allah says in the holy Qur’an:

Say to the believing men

That they should lower

Their gaze and guard

Their modesty: that will make

For greater purity for them:

And God is well acquainted

With all that they do. Nur or Light: 30

That’s why lowering one’s gaze purifies the soul, mind, and spirit; so shall we purify ourselves and lower our gazes from all that Allah has forbidden?
