Nutrition physicians say that there are many benefits for the fig as it contains high level of sugar so it considered being a good source of power; it contains sterilized matters from bacteria, organize intestine, prevent from and treat hemorrhoids and it reduces cholesterol.


Some studies confirm that eating fig every day may prevent cancer. Allah Almighty swears by this fruit as He says: (By the fig, and the olive){ Sûrat At-Tîn- The Fig-verse1} .
