The End of the Sun



The Holy Quran refers to the end of sun: (and its light is lost), and the scientists have found that the sun will disappear….

This picture was taken for the first time in 2000 by NASA. The picture demonstrates a star during the closing stages of its life. The scientists say “the death of this star is illustrating for us what will occur to the sun when it approaches the end of its life; light intensity of the sun will be reduced” The dim star shown in the picture is called “The Cat’s Eye Nebula”. The blue circle shows the hot gas the star emits while bursting. The gas’ speed while traveling is 4 miles per hour, reducing the intensity of the star’s brightness even more.

Allah (SWT) says: “When the sun is wound round and its light is lost (and is overthrown)” [At-Takwir:1].

Examine with me the accuracy of this verse; the star will be overthrown, meaning it will become dim. This is what the picture is demonstrating. It is an adequate miracle to be thinking about!

Birds are lying



Do birds lie like humankind? Of course! The Quran speaks about the similarities between humans and the creatures surrounding them. Allah (SWT) says:”There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you…” [Al-An-am:38] ….

After performing numerous experiments, scientists were astonished when they discovered that birds lie just like humans! The world of birds is full of secrets which scientists couldn’t discover except some of them. The lying phenomenon in birds is a new discovery the scientists found out a few years ago. Birds lie in order to obtain their food; they may also lie and cheat to attract a female!

However, Quran, the book of oneness, told us about this situation when mentioning the hoopoe bird in the Prophet Solomon’s story with Balqees. Allah (SWT) gave the prophet Solomon the ability to understand the birds’ ******** and to speak to them. In the story, when the hoopoe bird arrived late and told the king Solomon that he found people who prostrate to the sun instead of Allah, Solomon told him: “We shall see whether you speak the truth or you are (one) of the liars” [An-Nama:27]. This verse verifies that birds can be either trustworthy or dishonest. This is what the scientists have discovered very recently! Here a person asks: how did the prophet Solomon know that birds lie? And who told the noble prophet Muhamed, peace be upon him, this story? Indeed, Allah almighty is the one who created birds and their world.

The Three Veils of Darkness



"He creates you in the wombs of your mothers: creation after creation in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom, none has the right to be worshipped but He….

Professor Keith Moore one of the most famous embryology scientists in the world says: the embryo moves from one developing stage to another inside three veils that were mentioned in the holy Quran as God says: (in three veils of darkness): the three veils of darkness may refer to: 1-The anterior abdominal wall, 2-The uterine wall, 3-The amniochorionic membrane.

It has been proven scientifically that the development of the fetus in the mother's abdomen passes through three veils of darkness which are: the first darkness: is the darkness of the anterior abdominal wall, the second darkness: is the darkness of the uterine wall, the third darkness: is the darkness of the placenta and its membranes.

God be he exalted says: (He creates you in the wombs of your mothers: creation after creation in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?) [Surat Az-Zumar, verse: 6]. The miracle in the previous Quranic verse is the indication of the holy Quran to the process of creating the fetus inside the mother's abdomen as it passes through three veils of darkness and these hidden processes weren't known by anybody at the time of revelation of Quran and that testifies to the miraculous nature of the holy Quran.

The Good Sapience of Getting up at Night



Perform As-Salât from mid-day till the darkness of the night, and recite the Qur’ân in the early dawn. Verily, the recitation of the Qur’a in the early dawn is ever witnessed ….

The American doctors confirm that getting up from bed during the night with simple movement inside the house, doing some light exercises, massage the limbs with water and breathing deeply have many health benefits! Scientific studies have demonstrated that the one who wakes up for some time at night to carry out some activities will not be attacked by sudden death during sleeping. So thank God, who sent us the prophet of mercy whom all his orders are full of interest and benefit for us in the present life and the hereafter. He peace be upon him used to get up at night, perform the ritual ablution, pray and think in God's creation! So do we apply what the messenger of Allah peace be upon him ordered us? God be he exalted says:

(Perform As-Salât (Iqamât-as-Salât) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, ‘Asr, Maghrib and ‘Ishâ’ prayers), and recite the Qur’ân in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Qur’a in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night) [Surat Al-Israa, verse: 78].

Food and Drink



A human being has not filled any vessel which is worse than a belly ….

The holy Prophet peace be upon him advised us to follow a healthy diet which is recommended by western doctors nowadays, that's why the prophet has put a base for medical food…..

He says peace be upon him: (A human being has not filled any vessel which is worse than a belly. Enough for the son of Adam are some mouthfuls which can keep his back straight: but if there is no escape he should fill it a third with food, a third with drink, and leave a third empty) [Narrated by At-Tirmidhi].

Scientists confirm that filling the stomach with food and drink is one of the most serious dietary habits, therefore they advise to minimize the amount of food, even that most of them cure several diseases by nothing more than a healthy diet and abstain from eating large quantities of food. And this prophetic rule is considered to be one of the basics of modern medicine which demonstrates the sincerity of our Prophet and that all what he says is by inspiration from Allah not by himself!

The Miracle of the Nerve Cell



The one who looks at the miraculous design of the nerve cell, should perceive the greatness of the creator be he blessed and exalted, the branches coming out from this cell that are suitable for the nature of its work, proves that the endocrine nature is unable to give this cell this wonderful form…

A microscopic image of the nerve cell of the brain, scientists affirm that the brain contains more than one trillion nerve cells. And see how there are branches or links emerging from the nerve cell, their jobs are transmitting information between cells. It is a design of high precision and complexity. So by God: who created these cells and gave them this suitable form for working, and without this form it wouldn't be possible for us to think, understand and learn. God says: (The Most Gracious (Allâh), He has taught (you mankind) the Qur’ân (by His Mercy), He created man., He taught him eloquent speech.) [Surat Ar-Rahman, verses: 1-4].

Here we ask: who gave this cell its form and guided it to work right? Imagine that the human brain contains more than 1000000000000 cells (one trillion), all of them are related to each other and work together without any defect or error, isn't He who said: (Is He Who gave to each thing its form and nature, then guided it aright.) [Surat Taha, verse: 50]?!

We Adorned the Nearest Heaven with Lamps



And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps to be an adornment as well as to guard from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils ….

Whenever I read a research or a discovery, I realize immediately that the Quran has mentioned it in one way or another and this proves that everything is stated in the Quran. Let us contemplate, and praise Allah be he exalted……

A picture that shows the stars that are considered to be like faint and beautiful lamps in the sky, called brown dwarfs, it is about a millionth as bright as the sun, therefore scientists call it light bulbs. The NASA scientists say that these brown dwarfs are the lowest power stellar light bulbs in the sky.

When I was following the scientific news about the scientists' discovery of these beautiful bodies in the universe, something caught my eyes which is the expression that they used; light bulbs which means lamps. I realized that these scientists used this expression as they found a big similarity between the mechanisms of working of these bodies (and other stars) and that of the lamp. And here, it should be pointed that the Quran has preceded the scientists of NASA in launching this expression. God be he exalted says: (And We adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) to be an adornment as well as to guard (from the devils by using them as missiles against the devils). Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.) [Surat Fussilat, verse: 12], so Glory to God!

Smaller than Atom



There are many theories that explain the components of an atom. However, certainly an atom is not the smallest particle in the universe. There are objects smaller than the atom that the Quran speaks about!….

When scientists explored the atoms’ nucleus, they discovered smaller particles such as electrons, protons, and neutrons. They also found that protons and neutrons consist of even smaller particles called quarks. Quarks are considered elementary particles that build up matter. They are diminutive and powerful strings because of their mass and precision. There is a verse in the Quran that mentions things that are smaller than atom such as these quarks. Allah (SWT) says: “And nothing is hidden from your Lord the weight of atom on the earth or in the heaven. Not what is less than that or what is greater that that but is in a clear record” [Yunus: 61].

The miracle of this verse is that it mentions what is less than an atom and was revealed in a period when no one knew anything about atoms. In fact, not too long ago, it was thought that the atom was the smallest ****** in the universe; the smaller components are a very recent discovery. However, the Quran speaks precisely regarding it. Allah (SWT) says: “Less than that.” Glory to Allah Almighty.

Water Stores



Scientists have discovered huge underground and naturally pure water reserves. Soils and rocks help preserve water for long periods. Who stored the water and sustained it for us?!.….

One natural phenomenon is the water that descends from the sky and is stored in large reservoirs underground known as aquifers. This stored water remains potable for drinking and watering plants for a long time. The reason is the nature of the rock and soil strata above the aquifers. Loosely consolidated soils and porous rocks filter and store water, which consistently maintains a fine quality. This natural water storage amazes scientists. However Allah Almighty told us about it. Allah (SWT) says: “And we send the winds fertilizing, then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores” [Al-Hijr: 22].

This is one of the Quranic miracles and a proof that it is the book of Allah (SWT).

Rivers in Desert



The Prophet (PBAH) said (The Hour will not come until the land of the Arabs turns into meadows and rivers) ….

Scientists confirm that the Arabian Peninsula, especially the Rub’ al Khali (the Empty Quarter) desert, the world’s driest area, was once covered by lakes, rivers and meadows. The colors in the above satellite image illustrates the once rivers now deserts. The image shows the rivers buried several meters beneath the sand in the Rub’ al Khali. Prophet Muhammad (PBAH) spoke of this recent discovery when he confirmed that the Arabian Peninsula will return to it pervious status of being covered with rivers and meadows. The Prophet (PBAH) said (The Hour will not come until the land of the Arabs turns into meadows and rivers) [narrated by Bukhari]. The above image testifies to the truthfulness of the Prophet PBAH.
