Hydrologic Cycle



Scientists have found that there is a system in water movement…. The Holy Quran refers to this system in many verses….

Precipitation either evaporates into the atmosphere, gets taken up by plants, flows into streams, or infiltrates the ground and recharges aquifers. Groundwater flows from inland ********s to lakes, streams, or coastal waters. On the seaward side, denser salt water enters sediments and establishes equilibrium with fresh groundwater. Tides and mixing along the freshwater-saltwater interface results in seawater circulation through the sediments.

The Holy Quran mentioned this system in the verse: (And We send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are able to withdraw It) [23/18].

River And Sea



Quran has mentioned very important fact, it is the meeting between the river and the sea….

Nutrient- and sediment-laden fresh water from the Fraser River in British Columbia rides up and over salty ocean waters, which are beginning to march upriver during flood tide. The interaction of the two water masses of different salinities and densities in the estuary creates underwater turbulence and mixing that naturally flushes and energizes the coastal system.

The Holy Quran has mentioned this fact, Allah SWT says: (And He it is Who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them) [25/53].

Beginning Of The Universe



The Holy Quran has spoken about the beginning of the universe in an amazing verse….

The universe has started through a great explosion, and then its parts have been scratched and formed the stars and galaxies. The astonishing thing is that the Qur'an has spoken about these stages very accurately in the saying of Allah (Exalted is He): "And have not the ones who disbelieved seen that the heavens and the earth were an integrated (mass), then We unseamed them, and of water We have made every living thing? Would they then not believe?"

Surat Al- Anbiya (The Prophets) verse no.30

Expanding Universe



We'll see that the universe is expanding and the Quran mentioned this cosmic fact 1400 years ago...

The scientists think that the universe started by the Big Bang about 13.7 billion years ago and it is still expanding till now. And this is what the Qur'an has preceded the scientists of this age in the saying of Allah (Exalted is He) describing the expansion of the universe: "And the heaven (is also a sign). We have built it with (Our) Hands (i.e., Capability) and surely We are indeed extending (it) wide."

Surat Ath-Thariyat (The Winnowers) verse no.47

The Sky Was Smoke



Scientist have discovered the Cosmic Smoke, and the Quran mentioned this fact… Let's see...

The modern science indicates that, at one point in time, the universe was "SMOKE". NASA's scientist have brought some "cosmic dust" from the outer space. After analysing this dust, they have found that the better description to this dust is "Smoke".

This new scientific fact is mentioned in the Holy Quran 14 centuries ago. Allah almighty says: "Then He turned to the heaven when it was smoke" [41/11]. This is a clear miracle of Quran proves that the Quran is the book of Allah.

The Big Bang



Many scientific facts have mentioned in the Allah Book, and we'll see an amazing one….

Scientists explain the beginning of the universe in a theory called "Big Bang". They say that the whole universe was one mass, and exploded spreading the substance, forming the galaxies and stars.

But they have found that the universe has web-like structure! So, they speak about "cosmic web".

The Holy Quran refer to this fact in Surah Al-Anbiya'a, Allah All Mighty says:

“Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?” [Al-Anbiya'a 21:30].

Now let us think: How could a book, which be revealed 1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific fact?

The First Image of The Second Layer of The Earth



We live on an inferno! A fact documented by images; scientists discovered that the earth’s crust is only a thin layer, where underneath a second layer of melted rocks exists.….

The above image of the 2nd layer of the earth was published on the website of The National Geographic magazine, and it is the first direct image captured through a hole that scientists drilled in Hawaii (Hawaii is a volcanic island, formed of solidified lava). Scientists managed to see natural images of this flaming layer after drilling a 2.5 km deep hole in the volcanic island. Volcanologists confirm that this is an opportunity to study the layers of the earth closely.

This image reminds me of a one of Allah’s great blessings! Protecting us from sinking into lava! What would happen if the earth’s crust (first layer) - that floats on the 2nd one (the mantle) – slightly sinks into the flaming lava? The earth’s crust will shake, flip and eventually sink in a sea of flames! We should be thankful to Allah for protecting us from this happening, as Allah says: "Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)"?

Where The Romans Were Defeated



The Holy Quran has referred to the lowest point on the land. Let us see this picture and think over the verse….

In the image above we see the lowest elevation on the Earth's surface on dry land. This is where the battle between the Romans and the Persians took place, where the Romans got defeated. The Quran mentioned this area and mentioned the battle that took place in the “lowest part on the surface of the Earth”.

Allah said: (Alf Laam Meem * The Roman Empire has been defeated * In the lowest part of the Earth and they, after being defeated, shall overcome * Within a few years. Allah's is the command before and after; and on that day the believers shall rejoice * With the help of Allah; He helps whom He pleases; and He is the Mighty, the Merciful * (This is) Allah's promise! Allah will not fail His promise, but most people do not know * They know the outward of this world's life, but of the hereafter they are absolutely heedless.) [Al ROOM: 1 – 7]. It was proved that the Dead Sea area (where the battle took place) is the lowest point on the surface of land.
