To draw attention for reflecting and taking lesson

Praise be to Allah, the Almighty, the Creator, the Kind, the Sustainer, the evidences of His power and greatness are in the mankind and horizons. I testify that there is no God but Allah, the Arbitrator, the Just on the day of meeting, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger of the bright face, and the shining forehead, may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him as many as the cloud appears and rains.


So, I advise myself and you to fear Allah, to take provision from everlasting good deeds, to repent, and to keep away from the prohibited things, because after the years of this world there are long periods in which we would not be able to get close to Allah by doing deeds. (And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged [i.e., treated unjustly]) [Al-Baqarah 281].


O slaves of the Most Merciful:
Something that enlightens insight, nourishes faith, increases veneration, and fuels understanding, something that does not require travel like Hajj, nor hunger like fasting, nor money like charity, nor movement like prayer.


Its fields are diverse, and its horizons are wide, despite its importance and the abundance of what has been mentioned in it, the negligence about it is more, it is contemplation!


So let's think about some of Allah’s creatures that he drew the attention of the servants to!


O, my dears, from the great signs of Allah is:
The heaven:
(It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see) [Al-Ra’ad 2] (Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?) [Qaaf 6].


It is a flat dome throughout, with solid construction, in which you do not see any defect, neither rifts, nor fault. At the night, it has been adorned with stars that sparkle from horizon to horizon in the utmost beauty and excellence. This great heaven is full of evidence of Allah’s power, greatness, kindness and mercy; in it, is the great sun that has many benefits, when its rising time begins the night goes, and the light of dawn rises. In its shining there is beauty, and in its rising, there is a joy that you see even the birds that do not fly until after its rise!... The heat of sun, is beneficial for the human and animal body, ripening of fruits, and strengthening of plants! The sun, in its brightness for these vast dark horizons, is an example! The sun, in its warmth in the cold, is kindness and mercy! The sun, in its heat in the summer, is kindness and wisdom. For, how many germs it kills, and how many epidemics it eradicates! The sun, in its setting, is beauty and prestige: (And a sign for them is the night. We remove1 from it the [light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness. And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing) [Yaseen 37-38].


With the sun you know the times of the prayers; When it is about to rise, the light of dawn appears, when it passes its zenith, the time of Zohr prayer starts, when the length of an object’s shadow becomes equal to the length of the ****** itself, the time of Asr Prayer comes, when it sets the time of Maghrib prayer begins, and when its twilight fades, the time of Isha prayer begins.


Servants of Allah.

Among the signs of Allah is the moon, in the moon there is a beauty and gentleness, A proverb is said when it gets full, with the crescent of moon and its phases, the days, months and years are known, as well as the number and decades. The moon shines at night and does not harm, the sweetest sessions of the causerie are in the light of the moon. (It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know. Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah). [Yunus 5-6]. He, glory be to Him, said: (It is not allowable [i.e., possible] for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming). [Ya-Seen 40].


Imagine, if life is all night! Would you feel the blessing of the day? (Say, Have you considered:1 if Allah should make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you light? Then will you not hear?) [Al-Qasas 71].


Imagine if life is all day without night! Would you realize the blessing of the night? (Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see?) [Al-Qasas 72].


O, believers:
Among the signs of Allah are the birds. He created them, Glory be to Him, in a manner suitable for flying, and then subjected them to this gentle air. (Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? None holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.) [Al-Nahl 79].


This is evidence of His power, His vast knowledge, and His divine care for all his creatures, Blessed Allah is, the Lord of the all worlds. (Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing) [Al-Mulk 19].


Among the signs of Allah to which the Truth (He) drew the attention of the servants, is: the milk of cattle. The Almighty said:
(And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.) [Al-Nahl 66].


Who is in the nature, that turns the fodder that the beast eats, and the sweet or salty water that it drinks, into the pure milk, palatable to the drinkers?
when the food digests in its stomach, it makes blood in the veins, milk in the udder, and waste to pass, each of them does not spoil other, does not mix with each other after separating, and does not change with it.


Glory be to the All-powerful, All-Creator, All-Sustainer.


Oh Allah, make us among the people of understanding, who think, remember and are pious. Seek Allah’s forgiveness, ˹for˺ He is truly Most Forgiving.

The second speech

Praise be to Allah Who said: (And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]. And in yourselves. Then will you not see?) [Al-Zariyat: 20-21], and peace and blessing of Allah be upon His prophet, his family members and his companions.


To proceed: Brothers of faith,
Reflection is a worship performed by the venerable hearts, although many people ask and take care of the worships performed by the organs with great negligence of the deeds of the hearts, Allah is the One from Whom help is sought!


Honourable people, there are many areas of contemplation e.g., in the soul, living creatures, cosmic creatures, and others.


In fact, in this era, in which the discoveries have advanced, we find more scope than the previous ones to contemplate and reflect on the greatness of the Creator, and the splendidness of His creation, Glory be to Him.


Servants of the Most Merciful!
Among the signs of Allah, which have been mentioned in many verses, rain and plants; Allah said: (It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals]. He causes to grow for you thereby the crops, olives, palm trees, grapevines, and of all the fruits. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.) [Al-Nahl 10-11].


He brings it out of the earth with this one water, of its different types, tastes, colours, smells and shapes; That is why He said: “Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.” i.e. evidence and proof that there is no true God Except Allah, As He Almighty said: ([More precisely], is He [not best] who created the heavens and the earth and sent down for you rain from the sky, causing to grow thereby gardens of joyful beauty which you could not [otherwise] have grown the trees thereof? Is there a deity with Allah?1 [No], but they are a people who ascribe equals [to Him].) [Al-Naml 60].


He brings out from the same place very sweet watermelon, and very bitter colocynth! Contemplate how sweet dates come out of wood. (watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason) [Al-Ra’ad 4].


This is sweet, that is bitter, the third is sour, and the fourth is the combination of sweetness and sourness. Glory be to the All-Creator!


This one is yellow, that one is red, the third is white, the fourth is blue and the fifth is black. (And [He has subjected] whatever He multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who remember) [Al-Nahl 13].


Finally:
We seek refuge in Allah from the state of negligence or imitating the disbelievers who are refusing; Allah, Glory be to Him, said: (And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless.) [Yunus 92].


He, the Mighty and Sublime, said: (And how many a sign within the heavens and earth do they pass over while they, therefrom, are turning away) [Yusuf 105].


Then, invoke Allah’s blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace...
