Asking forgiveness from the creator, is the best means to obtain happiness in both, present life and the future one.

The most important thing is to REMEMBER to ask forgiveness for all the sins we did, and not feel proud of them

As for doctors mistakes , we may look into the issue from a legal base, asking patients to sign a paper that protects the sergeon against legal issues in case he failed or if the patient simply... died
