The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims)
The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (1) ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (1) the situation of the MuslimsThey are the target of these pages. As mentioned, we will divide them into two groups: The first:the sinners among the believers The second:the situation of the pious and righteous What is meant by them: the Muslims who committed sins that caused them to fall into horrors and difficulties mentioned in the narrations. For every type of sin there is a specific situation that their companion will come upon. Among them are the following: Those who do not give Zakat The narrations prove that the ones who do not give Zakat have a specific situation and situation on the Day of Resurrection and that their punishment is on two sides: The first:if he does not give wealth, an Aqra snake will be made in place of the wealth of the owner. It has two Zabeeb and will circle his neck and lick him, meaning with its tongue. It will say: I am your wealth; I am your treasure Allah Almighty said: {وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ} “And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.” [Al Imran: 180] This encircling is made up of: a snake circling their necks as the Prophet (peace be upon him) explained in Sahih Al Bukhari from the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Anyone whom Allah has given wealth but he does not pay its Zakat, then, on the Day of Resurrection, his wealth will be presented to him in the shape of an Aqra snake with two Zabeeb in its mouth and it will encircle itself round his neck and bite him over his cheeks and say, "I am your wealth; I am your treasure." Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited this Divine Verse: {وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ هُوَ خَيْراً لَّهُمْ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُواْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلِلّهِ مِيرَاثُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاللّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ} “And let not those who [greedily] withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty ever think that it is better for them. Rather, it is worse for them. Their necks will be encircled by what they withheld on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah , with what you do, is [fully] Acquainted.” [Al Imran: 180][1] Aqra: a male snake with a shaven head because of its excessive poison. Zabeeb: black poisonous glands in its mouth of the snake. The second:if he withheld wealth from: gold or silver; they will be brought in trays of fire so he will be punished by them. If the wealth was animals: camels, cows or sheep, they will be sent to their owner and trample him. He will be punished by them. Allah Almighty said: {وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ * يَوْمَ يُحْمَى عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَى بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ هَـذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ} “And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], "This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard.” [Al Taubah: 34-35] In Sahih Muslim in the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If any owner of gold or silver does not pay what is due on him, when the Day of Resurrection would come, plates of fire would be beaten out for him; these would then be heated in the fire of Hell and his sides, his forehead and his back would be cauterized with them. Whenever these cool down, (the process is) repeated during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment is pronounced among servants, and he sees whether his path is to take him to Paradise or to Hell. It was said: Messenger of Allah, what about the camel? He (the Holy Prophet) said: If any owner of the camel does not pay what is due on him, and of his due in that (camel) is (also) to milk it on the day when it comes down to water. When the Day of Resurrection comes a soft sandy plain would be set for him, as extensive as possible, (he will find) that not a single young one is missing, and they will trample him with their hoofs and bite him with their mouths. As often as the first of them passes him, the last of them would be made to return during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment is pronounced among servants and he sees whether his path is to take him to Paradise or to Hell. It was (again) said: Messenger of Allah, what about cows (cattle) and sheep? He said: It any owner of the cattle and sheep does not pay what is due on them, when the Day of Resurrection comes a soft sandy plain would be spread for them, he will find none of them missing, with twisted horns, without horns or with a broken horn, and they will gore him with their horns and trample him with their hoofs. As often as the first of them passes him the last of them would be made to return to him during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years, until judgment would be pronounced among the servants. And he would be shown his path-path leading him to Paradise or to Hell..”[2] [1] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (4565) [2] Narrated by Muslim number (987). Qa qarqar: Qa: a lowered place where water is gathered. Qarqar: a levelled place also on earth. Faseel: the offspring of the camel when it seperates from its mother. If it is separated it is Fateem. A’qsa, Jalha and A’dba. A’qsa: full horned. Jalha: without horns. A’dba: the one that has a horn broken on the inside, which shows that it has no defects in order to be stronger in thrusting and ramming. It is said: a’dya is cut in the ear, which is why the camel of the Prophet PBUH was a’dya. It is said: the one that is defective in the horn and ear. It tramples him with its thalf. Thalf is for cows, sheep and antelopes. Each has cracked toes. Horses, oxen, donkeys and humans have hooves. |
رد: The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims)
The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (2) ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (2) Sins for which Allah does not speak to the ones who committed them on the Day of Resurrection. He does not purify them. He does not look at them and they have a painful punishment. What is meant: the ones who committed these sins; Allah Almighty said: {لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ } “Will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection” The consensus of the commentators is that He will not speak to them words that will benefit them nor make matters easier for them nor accept from them. There are other words that are more correct (Allah knows best) that Allah Almighty will speak to the companions of the fire in the fire but it is not speech of acceptance. Allah Almighty says: {اخْسَؤُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ} “Be ashamed in it and do not speak” {وَلاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ} “And does not look at them” Meaning: He does not look at them in a special way but turns away from them. He does not look at them a look of mercy or kindness. As for the common look, Allah Almighty looks at everything, His majesty. {وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ} “He does not purify them” Meaning: He does not clean them from dirtiness and does not bend over them in goodness. They are various categories: The first: those who hide what Allah Almighty has brought down in the book (They are) Scholars of the community, who hide some knowledge in order to please their leaders, gain some personal benefit or gain a share of the world. They have become similar to the priests and monks among the Jews and Christians in their hiding (of knowledge). They will have this fate. Allah Almighty said: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً أُولَـئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ إِلاَّ النَّارَ وَلاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ } “Indeed, they who conceal what Allah has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.” [Al Baqara: 174] In Sunan Abu Dawud, there is the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “He who is asked something he knows and conceals it will have a bridle of fire put on him on the Day of Resurrection..”[1] The second: those who contradict what Allah Almighty had promised them and use their faith to gain a small amount They take an oath by false faith so they gain a worldly gain. Allah Almighty said: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً أُوْلَـئِكَ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ وَلاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّهُ وَلاَ يَنظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَـهُمْ عَـذَابٌ أَلِـيمٌ} “Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their [own] oaths for a small price will have no share in the Hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them or look at them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them; and they will have a painful punishment.” [Al Imran: 77] Al Bukhari said regarding the Hadith of Abdullah ibn Abu Awfi (may Allah be pleased with him): “A man displayed some goods in the market and swore by Allah that he had been offered so much for that, that which was not offered, and he said so, so as to cheat a Muslim. On that occasion the following Verse was revealed: {إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَناً قَلِيلاً } “Indeed, those who exchange the covenant of Allah and their [own] oaths for a small price”[2] It (the narration) came in Sahih Muslim clarifying this promise for those who sell their commodities with false oaths because people believe them. The commodity will be sold then so there would be a false oath to sell a commodity. Abu Thar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Three are the (persons) with whom Allah would neither speak on the Day of Resurrection, nor would look at them nor would absolve the and there is a painful chastisement for them. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) repeated it three times. Abu Dharr remarked: They failed and they lost; who are these persons, Messenger of Allah? Upon this he (the Holy) Prophet) observed: They are: the dragger of lower garment, the recounter of obligation the seller of goods by false oath.”[3] Al Tabbari said: from the Hadith of Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) wha proves that humans deserve this promise even if he is honest, when he increases in taking oaths by Allah Almighty. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There are three types of people to whom Allah will not speak and neither will he bless them and for them is a severe torment. They are: the white-haired old adulterer; the arrogant beggar; and the one who makes Allah as his merchandise: He does not purchase except by swearing (by Allah) and he does not sell except by swearing”[4]. Al Munthiri said: their narrators are in the right. The third: the Musbil The fourth: the Mannan This (Musbil) is the one who drags his garment below his ankles[5]. Likewise, it (Mannan) is also the one who gives by showing his favours upon people with it. They will enter this promise (of punishment) because of the previous Hadith of Abu Thar (may Allah be pleased with him). In it: “the Musbil, the Mannan and the seller of goods by false oath”[6] The fifth: the elderly if he commits Zina (fornication /adultery) The sixth: the King or leader if they lie The seventh: the poor if he is proud The promise for these three came in the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) with Muslim. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Three (are the persons) with whom Allah would neither speak, nor would He absolve them on the Day of Resurrection. Abu Mu'awiya added: He would not look at them and there is grievous torment for them: the aged adulterer, the liar king and the proud destitute.”[7] The reason for the gathering of these three on this promise: because all of them committed a sin with little need for it. The aged adulterer: he is old aged. His lust has cooled down and his desire has reduced but with that he is a fornicator /adulterator. This is very strange in his situation because of the few reasons for it. The liar king: likewise. He is the imam (leader) so he does not fear anyone from his subjects and does not need to flatter anyone. Lying from him is strange because of the few reasons for it. The proud destitute: he is poor so why is he proud?! Most of those who are proud are proud because of what they have from wealth, eminence and resources in this world. These are things that the poor do not have. Pride from him is a very strange thing from him because of the few reasons for it. He is the one in need and maybe people form obstacles for his needs. How can he be proud over them and he does not have anything to be proud of?[8] The eighth: the one who has (water) but forbids (from drinking it) ibn al sabeel in the desert The nineth: the one who sells off the Muslims in order to gain worldly benefits If someone forbids Ibn Al Sabeel, and that is the traveler and the like from excess water that he has, then he will fall into this promise. Likewise, the one who sells off the Muslims in order to gain worldly benefit; if he is given from the world, its wealth is with him and if he is not given it (the wealth), he will not lose it. Meaning: his religion did not sell for him, was not an advice for him and was (not) supporting the truth that was with him in the book and the Sunnah but was for the sake of the world. He will enter this promise. Proof to that: The Hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “There are three types of people whom Allah will neither talk to, nor look at, on the Day of Resurrection. (They are): -1. A man who takes an oath falsely that he has been offered for his goods so much more than what he is given, -2. a man who takes a false oath after the `Asr prayer in order to grab a Muslim's property, and -3. a man who withholds his superfluous water. Allah will say to him, "Today I will withhold My Grace from you as you withheld the superfluity of what you had not created.”[9] [1] Narrated by Abu Dawud number (3658). Narrated by At-Tirmidhy number (2649). It is said that is an authentic Hadith [2] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (2088) [3] Narrated by Muslim number (106) [4] Narrated by Al Tabbarani number (6/57) [5] There is a clear discrepancy regarding this promise, whether the person downcasts their izar (clothes) out of necessacity or out of pride. It is not a clear dispute; who does the promise apply to? What is clear and Allah knows best is that the promise applies to the one who downcasts their izar out of pride so Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection. The dispute has been summarised in Ibhaj Muslim by explaining Sahih Muslim in the book, Al Iman Sharh Al Hadith number (74) [6] Narrated by Muslim number (106) [7] Narrated by Muslim number (107) [8] Look at the words of Al Qurtubi in Al Mafham (1/305). The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (3) ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (3) The status of the wealthy in luxuryThey are those who lived in luxury in the world of this life. They remained in wealth except that on the Day of Resurrection, they are the few who will have a great loss. The Prophet (peace be upon him) took an oath over it. This is not in its entirity. The Prophet (peace be upon him) excluded those of them who spend their wealth for the sake of good. They do not enter this loss. From the two Sahih from the Hadith of Abu Thar who said: “I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was sitting in the shadow of the Kaaba. When he saw me, he said: “They are the losers, by the Lord of the Ka`ba! They are the losers, by the Lord of the Ka`ba!" I said (to myself), "What is wrong with me? Is anything improper detected in me? What is wrong with me? Then I sat beside him and he kept on saying his statement. I could not remain quiet, and Allah knows in what sorrowful state I was at that time. So I said, ' Who are they (the losers)? Let My father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Messenger!" He said, "They are the wealthy people, except the one who does like this and like this and like this (i.e., spends of his wealth in Allah's Cause).”[1] In a narration: “The wealthy persons would have little (reward) on the Day of Resurrection, except upon whom Allah conferred goodness (wealth). He dispensed it to his right, left, in front of him and at his back (just as the wind diffuses fragrance) and did good with it (riches). [1] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (6638). The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (4) ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (4) The situation of the traitorHe is the one who is promised an issue but he does not fulfill it and he has a state that he will come upon on the Day of Resurrection. He will be carrying a flag, which is the great responsibility that he will be known with on the Day of Resurrection. It will be said: he is the traitor of so and so (people). What a great disgrace it will be!! From the two Sahih there is the Hadith of Ibn Omar (may Allah be pleased with them) who said: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Every betrayer will have a flag on the Day of Resurrection" One of the two subnarrators said that the flag would be fixed, and the other said that it would be shown on the Day of Resurrection, so that the betrayer might be recognized by it”[1]. This flag will be placed at his back so that he will be known by it. In Sahih Muslim, there is the Hadith of Ibn Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “On the Day of Judgment there will be a flag fixed behind the buttocks of every person guilty of the breach of faith.”[2] What was mentioned was that what is greater than this is when the treason is from a leader and someone with authority because the importance of that then is greater. There is a lot of harm. In a narration with Muslim: “There is no guilt of treachery more serious than the one committed by the ruler of men”[3] [1] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (3186, 3187). The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (5) ‘Abdullah bin Hamoud al-Furaih The condition of the people on the Day of Resurrection (the Muslims) (5) The situation of the one who steals from the booty of warAllah Almighty said: {وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ} “And whoever betrays, [taking unlawfully], will come with what he took on the Day of Resurrection. Then will every soul be [fully] compensated for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.” [Al Imran: 161] He comes on the Day of Resurrection at a disgraced state. He has what he was unfaithful with in the life of the world. Allah knows best (of their situation) Al Qurtubi said: {وَمَن يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ} Meaning: he comes with it carrying it on his back and at his ankles, punished by carrying it and its weight, terrified of its sound and dreading to show his treason to the onlookers.[1] [1] Look at: the Tafseer (interpretation) of this verse by Al Qurtubi |

It was a phrase that the Arabs used. I said: there is a Hadith that I heard and I will tell it to you. I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: “If Allah puts anyone in the position of authority over the affairs of the Muslims, and he secludes himself (from them), not fulfilling their needs, wants, and poverty, Allah will keep Himself away from him, not fulfilling his need, want and poverty.”[2] 8.The situation of the one who had two wives that he did not do justice with Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When a man has two wives and he is inclined to one of them, he will come on the Day of resurrection with a side hanging down.”[3] Al Darimi narrated about Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “When a man has two wives and he is inclined to one of them, he will come on the Day of resurrection with a side hanging down.”[4] Al Iyani (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Whoever had two women…”: it is said: what is mean is a real drop in his side or what is meant is his reasoning drops according to one of his women that he leans towards over the other. What is clearer: the reality, which is the narration of Abu Dawud “with a side hanging down” The fate according to the work and was not just, away from what is right, is a tyrant or leans (towards one side): his punishment is to come on the Day of Resurrection at the heads of the witnesses or to one of his relatives leaning.[5] 9.The situation of the one who asks people for their money without any necessity or need but to increase their own wealth Ibn Omar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “A man keeps on asking others for something till he comes on the Day of Resurrection without any piece of flesh on his face.”[6] Meaning: there is no piece of flesh on his face. 10.The situation of the one who lies about a vision 11.The situation of the one who listens to a speech of a community without any right and they are angry with his listening [1] Narrated by Al Bukhari number (2454) [2] Narrated by Abu Dawud number (2948).
