الموضوع خطير حيث مازالت هذه الأسماء تتداول وبشكل طبيعي جداً في

صيدليات الدول العربية

Upon the recommendation of the FDA (Food and Drug

Administration), all drugs containing phenylpronalamine should

be withdrawn from the U.S. market. This decision was based on a

study conducted to investigate the risk of hemorrhagic stroke
associated with the use of phenylpronalamine. The study reported
an association between phenylpronalamine use and hemorrhagic
stroke in women. The increase risk of hemorrhagic stroke was for
women using phenylpronalamine for weight ******* and as a nasal
decongestant product. Although the study showed that the risk of
hemorrhagic stoke is found mostly in women, men may also be at
risk.

The following is a list of all drugs containing

phenylpronalamine that are still available and in use in the

Egyptian market:

1. Conta-Flu كونتا- فلو

2. Antiflu أنتي فلو

3. Nova-C-M نوفا - سى - إم
4. Coldact كولداكت
5. Flustop فلو ستوب
6. Flurest فلو رست
7. Rhinomol رينومول
8. Pararhinol بارارينول
9. Michaelon ميكاليون
10. Noflu نوفلو
11. Coricidin D كوريسيدين - دى
12. Rhinogesic رينو جيسيك
13. Contact 12 كونتاكت 12
14. Eskornade أسكورنيد
15. Night and Day نايت آند داى ( الليل والنهار)
16. Vegaskine Aduls Syrup فيجاسكين شراب للبالغين
17. Sinutab سينو تاب
18. Rhinopront Syrup رينوبرونت شراب
19. Denoral دينورال
20. Coflin كوفلين
Please, avoid using the above drugs even if prescribed by your

treating physician.
